To meet the dual demands of environmental protection and high-performance packaging, we developed SPNY film —an eco-friendly, high-barrier biaxially oriented nylon film that contains no chlorine. Its barrier performance rivals KNY (PVDC-coated nylon) while offering better transparency and strength, making it an upgraded alternative.

Structure and Principle
  • Nylon base (BOPA/BON): biaxial stretching technology gives the film excellent toughness and puncture resistance.
  • High-barrier resins (such as MXD6 or EVOH): provide superior gas barrier; co-extruded with nylon, they form a new generation of transparent barrier film.
  • Combining strong nylon with oxygen-blocking resins creates a green transparent film with high toughness and high barrier.
    Material Features

    Ultra-low oxygen transmission rate: OTR below 8 cc/m²·day, achieving PVDC-level barrier, ten times better than standard nylon.

    High heat resistance: withstands sterilization above 120°C, remains stable without haze or whitening.

    Excellent transparency: non-yellowing and fully showcases product color and texture, enhancing shelf appeal.

    Exceptional toughness: resistant to puncture, impact and flexing, ideal for vacuum packs with bones or sharp corners.

    Green chlorine-free design: contains no PVDC, incineration produces no dioxin, achieving low-carbon, eco-friendly packaging.

    Vacuum bags for bone-in meat, retort sterilization pouches for cooked foods, high-oil nuts, curry, soups, sauces, and premium foods that seek recyclability and freshness.
