AOP Film (PVA-Coated OPP Film)
Transparent, oxygen-blocking, eco-friendly packaging solution

Traditional high-barrier OPP films (such as KOP) often use chlorine-containing coatings to enhance gas barrier performance. These materials may produce harmful gases like dioxins during incineration, causing environmental pollution and disposal costs.
To balance barrier performance with environmental responsibility, we developed AOP film (PVA-coated OPP film). An ultra-thin, eco-friendly polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) coating is applied to a transparent OPP substrate, drastically reducing oxygen transmission while maintaining high clarity and recyclability.
AOP film offers a chlorine-free, incineration-safe, recyclable alternative that can fully replace KOP and other high-pollution barrier films, delivering green packaging that balances performance and sustainability.
Structure and Principle
Coating an ultra-thin PVA layer onto OPP creates AOP film, combining transparency with high barrier performance.
Why Choose AOP?
Eco-friendly upgrade: chlorine-free and emits no harmful substances like dioxins during incineration, making it an ideal replacement for traditional chlorine-based films such as KOP.
High barrier: delivers outstanding gas barrier and aroma retention, extending freshness and flavor.
Appealing appearance: the colorless PVA coating preserves the package's original clarity, showcasing product features.
Green process: recyclable together with OPP, reducing carbon emissions and energy use for sustainable packaging.
Material Features
Excellent oxygen barrier: greatly reduces oxygen transmission, effectively extending shelf life.
Outstanding aroma retention: locks in original flavor and prevents aroma loss.
Good moisture resistance: superior water vapor barrier keeps products dry and stable.
Oil and solvent resistance: suitable for packaging products containing oils or special ingredients.
Non-yellowing: maintains high transparency and a stable appearance after long-term storage.
High surface smoothness: smooth to the touch, enhancing overall package quality.
Printing-friendly: works with water-based inks and can be directly printed and laminated after corona treatment.
